Coramba Timbers Kiln dries it own timber and has the facilities to strip out, talley and kiln dry customer’s own timber as well as Immunising against Lyctus borer, which can be found in a some of North Coast Hardwoods.

Our Wood turners are very proficient at what they do because they enjoy their work, they can turn anything from a golf tee to a telegraph pole.
Apart from our stock line of newel posts and balusters for staircases, We also manufacture a wide range of other hand and machine turned products.
Whether it is one article or ten thousand, we can do it for you. We have current contracts to turn tens of thousands of tool handles, crutch handles, chair legs and spindles, so quantity is not a problem.
Most of all we enjoy a challenge, we already turn standard turnings, square turnings, Octagonal turnings .We are always looking for new ideas to keep our Wood turners in a creative frame of mind.

Machining
Coramba Timbers can machine standard profiles, (see profiles) customers own profiles and reproductions.
Coramba Timbers has a vast range of machinery which include 6 Header moulder, Multi- head moulders, Planers Scroll saws, Band saws, Picket profiler, automatic routers, End Matcher, Computer lathes, auto & semi-automatic rotary knife lathes, 8 Metre column lathe, mini-lathes, shaping and spindle moulders and other joinery related machinery as well as the facilities to make and sharpen knives.
